Assessment
PSD Engineers work closely with Clients and Architects at an early stage to best understand their requirements. This involvement allows us to assess feasibility and offer practical advice where required to ensure a satisfactory, cost effective solution is reached.
Our extensive experience allows us to evaluate complex problems quickly, efficiently and economically. We are able to offer advice with regard to ground conditions and where specialised advice is required will liaise with Geo-technical experts.
Design
PSD Engineers undertake structural design in steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry to current British and European Standards using the latest design software.
Our projects cover a range of work in the domestic, residential and commercial fields and no job is too small. Our scope of design work includes small scale domestic up to larger projects such as extensions, barn conversions and portal framed industrial units and would include the design of both substructure (foundations) and superstructure.
Delivery
PSD Engineers will produce structural calculations sheets and accompanying detailed CAD drawings for Building Regulation Application purposes and these drawings can be used by Contractors to produce more accurate costs for Clients.
During the construction works we regularly attend site to ensure that the job runs smoothly. We are only a phone call away and are able to attend site at short notice to deal with those unforeseen problems which can occur during any construction projects.
